Fast Home Cleaning Tips!!!

There are a lot more fun and enjoyable things to do than cleaning your home. In order not to waste precious time and moments of your life with a vacuum cleaner and a cloth, we will give you some fast cleaning tips. So you can have more fun time.

Have quick and easy access to appliances and cleaning solutions. Do not lose your motivation in your search for your vacuum cleaner. Keep cleaning supplies and appliances in comfortable place.

Everything is more fun with music! !!
Music creates a kick that helps you work faster. Prepare fast and rhythmic songs that boost your mood and makes you feel good. That will help you move quicker and increase your motivation. Remove any temptations that keep you focused – TV or PC, for example. Start with the most annoying!. Start cleaning with the room you clean last. If you leave the most unpleasant part in the end, you will probably experience the most annoyance and not clear it well. In the beginning, we are most effective, and after we finish the most unpleasant task, everything else will be more accessible for us.

Do not waste time cleaning things that do not need cleaning .
Clean items that are dust and in dire need of cleaning.
Clean in time.
If the cooker becomes dirty while cooking, clean it immediately. If children spill juice on the floor during play, clean immediately. That will help you save time and effort in the long run.

Do not use too many detergents!
Usually, we use more detergent cleaners to keep the home clean. However, this can have unpleasant consequences. Excess detergent cleaners can cause some surfaces to break. It may also stain. Note that some cleaners do not act instantly but must be left to break down dirt. Therefore, read the instructions before use.
Soda and vinegar have excellent cleaning properties and are completely harmless. They are also inexpensive, which is a good enough reason to include them in your cleaning process.

Top to bottom
Start cleaning from the top and keep getting lower. Finally, leave the floor. That will avoid stains from cleaning agents.
From dry to damp
Start with a dry cleaning (vacuum cleaner), then move to wet cleaning. Doing so will prevent dust and dirt from spreading.
Take away any appliances and supplies you have used at their place
In this way, subsequent cleaning will not be hard to find next time. You will be ready faster, and you will not waste time finding a cloth.

Cleaning may not be the most enjoyable job for you, but when you do it quickly and successfully, the result will surely delight you.

If, however, you are unable or unwilling to tackle this task alone, we are here to help. Fast Clean 0191 4203 500

Find out the difference between a Rug Doctor and booking a professional carpet cleaner!!!

It’s very easy to distinguish between a carpet cleaning machine such as a hired Rug Doctor and a professional carpet cleaning machine. When you try out a hire machine at home, you will see that it is unable to wipe out the complete dust and dirt from the carpets. It only removes the outer dust where as the inner dirt remains same as before. While in the case of a professional carpet cleaning machine and the cleaning process, you will be able to test out that the carpets which are looking shabby before the cleaning process are now newly fresh and clean. This impression is sufficient to conclude that doing the carpet cleaning your self is not a proper way to clean your carpets rather one should bring in a professional carpet cleaning service that can do the same with much more proficiency.
Which service to use: do-it-yourself Rug Doctor with expensive chemicals you have to buy when hiring the machine or use a professional carpet cleaning service like Fast Clean?
Now, you must have been thinking that in this world of competition, how to choose the best service? That too is not so difficult. You must choose that company who provides you a variety of services within minimum time period and with 100% satisfaction guaranteed. The Importance Of Vacuuming To Keep Your Carpets Looking Good!!!

The Importance of  Vacuuming to Keep Your Carpets Looking Great !!!

Vacuuming is important. You know that, but did you know that you need to vacuum. Going once over the whole carpet possibly isn’t enough. This is more than just doing a once-over to make sure it looks clean. You need to get into the fibres to get rid of all the dirt and muck. Here are all the reasons you need to know why vacuuming is so important.

The Bacteria Cling to the Fibres

Bacteria will get deep into the fibres. Think about the foot traffic that is forcing it further down. Food is often grounded in and then there are the pet odours and dirt that you and your pets are trekking in. If you don’t clean your carpet properly, you’ll find that they cling to the fibres, and this causes a number of health problems. Asthma, eczema and other health conditions are all problematic due to germs and bacteria.

A proper vacuum routine will help to avoid this issue. Just by using the right setting on your vacuum cleaner will help to dislodge the stubborn bacteria and dirt, making your carpets much cleaner than before.

Vacuum cleaner

Not Everything Gets Sucked Up

This isn’t just about elements that are attached to the fibres. The dirt on the top of your carpet may not get cleaned up properly. This is often due to not going in all directions. Not only are you putting your family’s health at risk, your carpet just won’t look clean! Specks of paper, glitter and crumbs will get left behind.

This is more common if you just do a once-over in one direction. Make sure you go back, forwards and side to side. If you don’t have a roller-ball cleaner, you’ll need to turn your vacuum cleaner around. It is worth it when you think about the deeper clean you’ll get. It’s also important to make sure the bag isn’t too full, as this affects the suction.

You Miss the Tougher Sections

The corners of the room and underneath furniture are often missed out when it comes to vacuuming. They’re just too difficult to get into, especially if you don’t have a proper vacuuming routine. This leads to dust, dirt and bacteria all building up in these sections of the carpet, and it just won’t look that good.

It’s important to use the right attachments on your vacuum cleaner. These are designed to get under furniture, into corners and even use on specific types of carpets and furniture. They’re great for getting in corners and even doing the stairs.

You Give Yourself Too Much to Do

Getting into a proper routine is important to ensure you don’t give your cleaner too much to do. There’s no point waiting for your carpet to get dirty. Remember all that above about bacteria getting into the fibres? By getting into a proper routine, you clean even if the carpet looks clean. You’ll soon notice the difference.

You should clean up with a vacuum cleaner at least once a day. Food and dirt get into the carpet throughout the day, and the last thing you want is problems at a later date. As soon as something is spilt, it is worth getting the cleaner out. This is where handheld ones are great, because you can just pull them out for that section and then cover the whole carpet at the end of the day; especially if you have children!

Getting into a proper vacuuming routine is essential. Without one, you run the risk of leaving dirt, grime and bacteria behind. These put your whole family at risk. The problem with not cleaning properly is that everything gets attached deep into the fibres, and this makes it much harder to keep your carpets looking great!!!

How Does Stain Guard Protection Work?

10/7/2019

Picture
When people think of cleaning their carpets and upholstery, they often consider whether they should have Stain Guard Protection applied. Stain guard protection for your upholstery and carpets is a wise move, however most people have a misconception about stain guard protection. Let  Fast Clean explain the mechanics of the product for all of those people wondering, “How does Stain Guard Protection work?

The most common mistaken belief about Stain Guard Protection, is the idea that despite relentlessly abusing carpets and furniture, adding a fabric protector will keep them brand new. This is simply not the fact, even with Stain Guard Protection, persistent mistreatment of upholstery and carpets will show wear and tear. Stain Guard Protection products will protect your furniture and carpets and prolong the showing of deterioration, but it’s not full proof. So how does Stain Guard Protection work?

This technology is intended to prevent stains, dirt, and grime from penetrating into the fibres of your carpets and upholstery. The chemical is safe and extremely effective when applied correctly with the accurate measurements and techniques. What does that mean? If you buy a can of Stain guard protection obviously the strength of that product is not the same as what they provide to professionals. The reason the concentration is so much lower is simple, the company does not want to pay to replace furniture and carpet for every disgruntled customer who decides to apply more than is recommended because they think their carpets or furniture need more protection.

If the product is applied properly, it will create a protective shield that repels liquid, dirt and grime, thus giving you the time you need to clean the spills and prevent stains. If you spill red wine for instance, and the carpet does not have Stain Guard Protection, you will see the carpet turn a pink colour as the wine absorbs into the fibres. If you spill that same glass of wine and your carpet is Stain Guard Protected, you will see the wine bead up and remain on top of the carpet. By repelling the liquid, you can run and grab some paper towel, apply it to the spill and let the liquid absorb into that, rather than your carpet. Let’s say you spill the wine and you have Stain Guard Protected, but you decide to leave the wine and not clean it up because you have Stain Guard Protection, it could eventually set in. The purpose of Stain Guard Protection is to give you the time you need to prevent a stain. The problem is some people think because they have carpet protection they never have to clean their carpets again. Wrong.

The other fantastic benefit of Stain Guard  Protection is the prevention of wear patterns in the carpet. If you have ever looked closely at peoples carpets you can usually see where they walk most often. The carpets in high traffic areas often discolour from wear and tear. The protective shield of the Stain Guard Protection prolongs the beauty of those areas and prevents the carpet from discolouring as quickly. However, as I have mentioned earlier the product is not full proof, even though it prevents the carpet from discolouring the constant rubbing and pressure on the carpet does flatten the fibres in high traffic areas. The high traffic areas with Stain Guard Protection stay new looking much longer than without, but again don’t expect miracles, although Stain Guard Protection is a great product it isn’t magic.

Why Hire A Carpet Cleaner?

9/22/2019

Picture
It may seem cheaper to hire a carpet cleaning machine – but is it really?

It has amazed us to see how popular hiring a carpet cleaning has become. Visit many of the local retail stores and you will see stands and adverts past the tills encouraging you to hire a “professional” carpet cleaning machine. So why is this so bad you may be thinking?

On top of the hire fee itself you have your time to consider.

You have the added extras such as water costs and electricity costs, plus petrol in collecting and returning the rental machine – and the cost for the generic cleaning solution as well

Just how good is that machine you are hiring – to achieve a perfect clean you need a powerful, modern machine

Will you be able to deep clean and remove all carpet stains with just the supplied machine and purchased universal fluid

Obviously we are biased, but our bias comes from our desire to provide the very best carpet cleaning and stain removal for every job we undertake. There is a reason we invested so much in to our machines. It isn’t just about the superior suction and cleaning ability, nor the fact our carpets are not “soaked with water” which can cause damage and also further staining or issues – it is about having the best available to do the job properly.

You may get lucky with your hire machine, it may remove the surface staining that is bothering you, it may give an increased appearance of cleanliness to your carpets – but then again it may not, or worse still it may actually just mask and hide the dirt and grime that is lurking all the way to the pile of your carpets.

We are regularly called to houses that have rented a carpet cleaning machine, only to still need a professional carpet cleaner!

This really is a nightmare scenario for you. You have spent money and time in the hope of cutting costs, only to end up wasting all of this and having to pay more than if you had just contacted a carpet cleaning professional in the first case.

There is a reason we have a whole tray full of specific cleaning solutions, each designed to tackle different types of stains from organic or protein based to water or oil based. Sometimes to get the perfect clean we need to treat the stain, in the correct order of products.

An example of this is a spilled cup of coffee – how this is tackled depends entirely on how the coffee was made. Was it a black coffee, was it made with milk or even cream – how much sugar was in it? Each of these stain components will require different cleaning solutions to remove the stain fully. It is this level of knowledge that can really make a difference to removing your carpet stain.

So please call in the professionals we could save you a mint. Fast Clean 0191 4203500.

How Often Should l Have My Carpets Cleaned!!!

How Often Should l Have My Carpets Cleaned!!!

The easiest way to keep your carpets looking and feeling great is to clean them regularly. But what does "regularly" mean? How often should carpet be cleaned? Well, some of it depends on your circumstances. Some questions to consider when determining how often you should clean your carpets include.

Do you have pets?

Do you have allergies?

Does anyone in the household smoke?

How heavy is foot traffic in each carpeted area?

If you have a small household without pets, young children, or smokers, you may be able to get away with vacuuming just once a week. However, a good general rule for the average household is to vacuum twice a week, and have your carpets professionally cleaned once a year. For high-traffic households with pets, children, or smokers, we recommend cleaning your carpets anywhere between three and seven times a week, depending on how soiled the area is.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU CLEAN SPILLS AND STAINS?

While thinking about how often to clean your carpets, don’t forget about stains. Any spills you see should be cleaned up immediately to reduce the risk of stains. You can even clean your carpet padding to keep the stain from spreading and causing additional damage and odors. If stains happen frequently in your home, consider purchasing stain resistant carpets and rugs to help you tackle spills with ease.

THE BENEFITS OF REGULARLY VACUUMING YOUR CARPETS

REMOVES DANGEROUS PARTICLES

Carpets harbor a variety of items, including dirt, dust, pet dander, food particles, and any items that are transferred from your shoes into the carpet fibres. Unless these items are removed often, they can embed themselves into the carpet fibres, causing stains, odours, and potentially permanent damage. Even worse, these particles can spread germs, bacteria, and diseases throughout your home. To ensure that your family and guests stay safe, keep your carpets clean with regular vacuuming.

EXTENDS THE LIFE OF YOUR CARPETS

Removing particles isn't the only reason to clean your carpets. Over time, the dirt and grime in your carpets will work like sandpaper to degrade the carpet fibres and cause irreversible damage. Each step on a dirty carpet can wear away at the carpet’s structure, making you lose a costly investment faster. To ensure that your carpets last as long as possible, it’s important to clean them often.

IMPROVE THE LOOK OF YOUR CARPETS

Clean carpets are bright, plush, and welcoming. Vacuuming your carpets can make your home feel more inviting and comfortable for guests and family members alike. When you take the time to vacuum your carpets every week, you can protect your investment from damage and potentially even increase its lifespan.

CALL ON THE EXPERTS FOR A PROFESSIONAL CARPET CLEANING

Vacuuming can take care of weekly maintenance, but your carpets require a deeper clean at least once a year. Our carpet cleaning services include deep vacuuming and hot water extraction to restore your carpets to their original beauty. Trained technicians use the proper cleaning solutions and technologies to remove stains, germs, allergens, trapped-in soil, and other materials to keep your carpets looking beautiful. Call us today to schedule an annual carpet cleaning with the experts at Fast Clean.

We are company, that specialise in Carpet Cleaning and Upholstery Cleaning, End of tenancy cleaning and many more cleaning services, but we can give you some FREE advice how to remove chocolate stains from your carpet.

As we all know, our carpets are so prone to stains. Yes, my carpets get stains quite  often to since they are exposed to people and pets as it is on the floor which we are walking on every day. The more it is exposed to usage, the greater chances for our carpets to accumulate stains from different kinds of carpet stain sources.

Our carpets can get lots of stains if we have kids. You know, kids always want to play. And they are not that aware of what they are doing. Sometimes they are eating foods and then throw it wherever. So our carpet then gets stains.

Today, I have prepared some tips on how to get stains out of carpets. Below are the steps on how to get stains out of carpets.

How to get stains out of carpets: Chocolate

1. Whenever you saw chocolate stains on your carpet, you have to act right away. The longer we let it be there, the harder for us to remove chocolate stains from our carpet.

2. The first step on removing chocolate carpet stains is to scrape excess chocolate. If its a bit liquid you have to let it hard first by chilling with ice cubes. When its a bit harder, get a knife and scrape it. Put in on a piece of paper then throw it a way. Once you are done scraping, you kneed to clean the knife as well to get rid of spreading the chocolate stains.

  3. Checking the type of carpet is the next step. You have to check the type of carpet because for every type of carpet has certain cleaning techniques needed. For example, carpet made of natural materials like grass, sisal or wool can be damaged by too much liquid. If you aren't sure what technique can be applied for your carpet then you can contact us for FREE advice.

4. Prior to proper cleaning, you have to test if the carpet wont bleach with the carpet stain removal solution you are planning to use.

5. To initially clean the chocolate stains, put over the chocolate stained area a clean cloth with alcohol. Press it using a spoon. Alcohol will take away the fat from chocolate which will make it a lot easier to remove the chocolate stains.

6. Clean the area using your detergent solution. Dampen your clean cloth and press it over the chocolate stained area.

7. Blot the area to remove extra liquids.

8. Repeat the procedure until the area is totally clean.

9. Rinse by spraying liquid then blot.

10. Let the area dry by putting putting a clean white cloth. Put some weights over the clean white cloth.
